Daily Goals for February 5 & 6


Tonight’s dinner preparations went much more smoothly since I made it a goal to plan and shop ahead of time.

I’ve also worked through a large pile of paperwork over the past three days by splitting up the task and working on one part each evening. Normally I feel like I need to do everything at once because otherwise I leave it for too long and end up having to start all over again. This time since I made the goals ahead of time I felt comfortable leaving it unfinished knowing I would do the next step the next day.

My goals for February 4 were:

  1. Return library books and pick up new books
  2. Scan paperwork
  3. Meditate for 10 minutes (didn’t get to this again, need to set a time)
  4. Plan and shop for Wed night dinner (planned but didn’t shop)
  5. Clean dog’s ears (I added this one)

My goals for today, February 5:

  1. Shop for dinner
  2. Fold laundry
  3. Read 2 Psalms
  4. Tag scanned paperwork
  5. Take out compost

And my goals for tomorrow, February 6:

  1. Pick up household items
  2. Call the bank
  3. Read 3 picture books to my son
  4. Review Korean homework with my son
