Daily Goals for February 3 & 4
28 DAYS OF DAILY GOAL SETTING: PART 2
My progress so far has been mixed. On the one hand I’ve felt more organized and was able to accomplish most of the items on my list. On the other hand, I still found myself not prepared in the ways I’d like to be.
Just tonight I realized in the middle of cooking dinner that I was out off an essential ingredient. I was able to substitute it with something else but it was frustrating because I had just come from the grocery store! I’m looking at this as an opportunity to use my daily goals to prevent situations like this in the future.
My goals for Feb 2:
- Read to my son from Family-Time Bible in Pictures
- Read my son 3 other picture books (we have a couple Groundhog Day books)
- Make a card with my son for my mom who is coming back from Cameroon tomorrow (he drew a picture instead)
- Make a card with my son for a friend who is injured
- Read and reflect on Psalm 84 (I didn’t have as much reflection time as I would have liked but I did read through it
My goals for Feb 3:
- Meditate for 10 minutes (didn’t get to this)
- Read 3 picture books to my son
- Clean out my paper inbox (mail, my son’s paperwork from daycare, etc.)
- Make beef stock
- Take out compost
And my goals for tomorrow, Feb 4:
- Return library books and pick up new books
- Scan paperwork
- Meditate for 10 minutes
- Plan and shop for Wed night dinner
